Cuco, a mexican parrot, goes on an adventure from Mexico to Hollywood in order to get help from El Americano, a famous superhero from TV, against an evil band of birds trying to take control of his family’s beloved circus.

"Americano" centres around Chris McKinley (Jackson), a recent college graduate backpacking through Europe who savours his last three days of freedom before boarding the career fast track back in the United States. In Pamplona with two friends (Timm Sharp and Ruthanna Hopper), Chris meets an Australian thrill-seeker (Phil Barantini), a quintessential Spanish beauty (Varela) and an enigmatic provocateur (Dennis Hopper), all of whom encourage him to rethink his life. As the minutes and seconds until his departure tick away, Chris struggles with an age-old question: Should he follow the beaten path or risk it all on the road less travelled?

He finds out that in the youth team of the Acassuso Club, where he began his football career, there is a boy who has the conditions of Un Crack and who is still in charge as coach Francisco, who was his mentor, with whom he has a past to resolve. Despite his doubts, Lamote goes to the Club in search of the Crack and to confront Francisco and his past, but Francisco's destiny will not let it be resolved without making them both pay for it.
